So I'm starting a blog! I figured over the last year in my life I have gathered a lot of thoughts and should write them out. And why not have people read them? I'm an open person. So If you don't know me, I am seventeen years old and a senior in high school. I'm very outgoing and I am for sure a people person. I have been described as bubbly by my friends and teachers. As of today, I have been accepted to three colleges so far, but I'm not extremely smart, I'm just a solid student who cares about her grades and her future. In college I plan to study music education. A career in music as always been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, but for a lot of that time I realized how impractical it would be to just go into a preforming career. As a wise person once told me, "you don't need a degree to be a musician because you already are." So I decided that music education was not only practical, but it allowed me to share the music that I love with other people that could maybe love it as much, if not more.
Today I am going to Albany, NY to celebrate New Years Eve the way I have since I was born. This year I wasn't planning on going though. I am ready for some change of scene in my life, but this wasn't the year. I don't have my drivers licence yet, and the night probably wouldn't be that much fun, so I'm off to Albany in about an hour and a half. One of the top reasons I didn't want to go is that once people reach a certain age, adults start talking about college and the future with them, and it isn't so much like talking, it's like grilling. It isn't that I'm not looking forward to college, I'm just ready to be there and I'm ready for people to stop talking about it. Well that's all for this blog! I hope I remember to write again tomorrow! Happy New Year and welcome 2010!!!
